whats the question you get asked most about your truck?
just for fun: what do people just not understand about your truck? besides the obvious engine/suspension questions, the first thing the average person will ask is "wheres the door handles???" then i pop my door open and they're like SWEET! haha other than that... "howd you get the money for that? your just a kid!" (ive had paying jobs since i was 12, now its paying off
 ) "is it powerful??" haha i think we all can answer that; you dont rebuild a truck and NOT make it spit some smoke  "is it bad on gas?" uhh, yeah.  post yours! what question do you get asked when your parking at a coffee shop somewhere?

I just bought my truck in May. It ran and drove but not anything I would ever drive on the street until I went through it. When I first met it, it was parked just outside the woods on the back forty, rough to say the least. Now, I have the best lookin house in the neighborhood (not to toot my own horn but BEEP BEEP!) The guy I brought it from delivered it to me on the back of a farm trailer pulled by an equally questionable truck. We parked it proudly smack dab in the middle of my driveway for all to see! I thought my neighbors would call the county on me for such a derelict marring the comunnity. I have had the opposite effect, I guess its because my house was once the ugly duckling of the block and my neighbors have the utmost in confince in me to get the job done
The biggest question is: What are you gonna do with it? Work truck? Resto? My neighbors have expressed suprising Solidarity! One neighbor lent me extra jackstands, the lady across the street came out and congradulatd me when it started for the first time without backfiring. One neighbor came out and told me how jealous he was that I got It and told me of stories of how he drove these trucks for his fathers business when he was a kid. There is more great stories about how I was suprised by my new trucks reception but I'll stop there. Theirs is the same question as mine...What am I gonna do with it? I know one thing. Im gonna enjoy the S**T outta it! Can't wait till my first cruise night! |

Mine was is it for sale which surprised me as it wasnt much to look at but it had potential and was my daily driver until it went to the bodyshop for restoration and will be again when finished.

I had a white 63 that I sold. The neighbors asked me if I painted my truck when I bought my 68...lol..they thought it was the same truck

How much you got in it? Answer varies on proximity of the wife. 5K to 25K. I have no idea. I stopped counting after 20k! Where are your windshield wipers? At the house with the horn and seat belts but I got my gun
