Adapt pre 70's steering wheel on 70's tilt column

I would love to use a early-mid 60's chevelle, bell air, etc, steering wheel on my 75 c10 tilt column.

The problem is that, AFAIK, the wheel's center is narrower than that of the column

Column: 3-1/2" diamater
Sterring wheel center: 3-1/4" diamater

Is there a way to adapt these steering wheels, or are there some that would fit (and not look awkward)?

Thanks folks.

Have you looked at Grant or similar "one size fits all" aftermarket steering column stuff? I seem to recall that in the 70's they made a number of adapter "cups" to fit between their wheels and the stock columns.
