Heater core problems

I think my heater core is starting to plug up. I am a touch strapped for extra bucks at the moment, is there a way to clean it out so it will work better for now? I heard once upon a time soaking it in viniger will help. Any ideas?

I agree, take of the hoses and hook up a water hos (garden hose) to the top tube and let er rip. Maybe if you get lucky the blockage will go out.

If all else fails you could always by-pass the heater core all together. just put some bleachers out in the sun, out on highway61
