Need help identifying this inline 6

Hi guys I'm in need of some help I got a motor from a buddy he says it's a 292 out of a 62 or 63 c20 but it's doesnt look like the 292 I have in my 66 c20 first off the intake is more tubular the valve cover is wider the oil fill cap is more in the middle of the valve cover and the breather tube is offset the distributer is farther back and the way the engine is sitting on the pallet I can't see the gallery covers so if that helps at all some of you guys might know

fyi, I just bought Santucci's Chevrolet Inline Six-Cylinder Power Manual and it's got everything you could want to know about the 6's including how to ID all the different parts... now if I could just find a damn truck.
