where to find windshield cowl?searched and searched...

I've searched dozens of vendors (web searches only, no phone calls) and even run several forum searches here, but to no avail. I took the windshield cowl off yesterday as I saw a few paint bubbles....well after wire brushing the spots, there are several areas completely rusted through....
Where can I find new replacement panels? They seem to be unobtainium!!
I toyed with the idea of shaving it (which I have done with other vehicles, incl. my V8 240Z: http://tim240z.iwarp.com/index.html ), but would rather replace with stock if possible...
Any ideas on where to search? Anyone have a good used one (1971 Cheyenne 20)....
Thanks,
Tim

Mike,
I assume that that cowl is in good shape? If so, just let me know what shipping to El Segundo, CA 90245 is, and I can paypal you, or send you a cheque or MO, whichever is preferred.
Drop...,
If Mike is unable to send his, I will get in touch with you.
Thank you both very much.....shame you are both so far.....BTW.....I went to University in PA.....hated the winters.....and the muggy summers.....

Nice Z Tim. I checked out your whole site. I was into Z's then I got the truck and had to make a decision. Truck won. I kept all my Original Datsun tech books though. so maybe one day I will get back to em.

I got an extra one but I cut the outer sections of grills out to fill it in solid but decided to just do the one on my truck. I'll have to finish filling it in though.

Hi Tim, real good condition, try to get a PIC tomorrow. If you do happen to find a better deal, like a closer one pops up, I would not mind if you went for your best option. Mike

Mike,
Just let me know the shipping and payment preference and I will take it. Shipping is probably gonna be a bear, and packaging for safe transport too, so let me know what you need.
If there was one in SoCal, I would pick it up for sure, but you're it man!
Tim

I got a couple good ones. I am in Pomona. Come by and pick one. One has a tab broken off of the bottom where it attaches behind the fender but can be easily fixed. The other has a couple of small bondo patches where holes (not rust) were filled. You can have 'em both for $25.00 if you want to drive out and get 'em. Near I-10 & Towne offramp.
Thanx.

I've got one I've been trying to give away locally... it's cluttering up my garage but I don't have time/interest in packaging it to ship. If someone local to 67230 wants it, lemme know. The antenna hole has been shaved. Otherwise it's in good condition... a little bit of surface rust and some 35 year old olive green paint.
