Parts
Who have you guys/gals used for restoration and replacement parts? The only experience that I've had with getting parts for my blazer has been with a local place in North Phoenix called Grumpy's Truck Parts, and LMC.
Grumpy's is decent but a bit over priced, and in my experience, LMC's really doesn't offer the best replacement parts. I spent $400.00 for rubber and seals with them and half of it doesn't fit. Granted, there probably aren't many manufacturers of this stuff any longer, but there has to be at least one better quality supplier than the stuff LMC carries putting out re-pop parts. Have any of you dealt with any smaller vendors that have good prices on quality products? I'm going to be starting on a total heater rebuild here this week (core, valves, ducts, hoses, etc.) and don't want to get taken for a ride. I also need some interior parts (visors, window regulators, cranks, anti-rattle strips, and possibly a drivers side window). Where should I go? Last edited by big dump; 02-13-2008 at 12:47 PM. |

I've used LMC enough to keep the catalogs coming. I use board vendors most of the time. Just look at the posting that say help support those who help us. I will say that I have bought the majority of my parts from Tim Christian and will buy more here is a link to his website. I usually send him an email with a list of parts I want, and he sends me back one with the prices and availability. Click Here for his site

I've bought parts from Wes at Classicheartbeat.com, MotherTruckers, Brothers, Early Classic, LMC and The Truck Shop.

i buy parts from arrowhead truck parts 79th ave and olive ave peoria az they get there stuff from brothers truck parts. or junk yard called desert valley wrecking yard.
