Diesel COE spinning donuts in the snow. Note all the other ADs parked down at his house.

Re: AD Fun In The Snow

The last time I did donuts in my 48 it wasn't intentional. I stayed out of the ditch though.

My oldest son who I lost when he was 19 in 1989 with his cousins after a 30 mile ride though the snow
He's the Joe cool dude with leather jacket and sun glasses.

Uhh. Those familiar with the old road up to top of Mount Charleston in Las Vegas will under stand this one. Got caught in a snow storm back in 1970 coming down hill. This was back when my 54 AD was all original. Spun round 4 times in snow and barely escaped death from 200+ drop off. ADs and Fun in the snow don't mix in my mind.

Re: AD Fun In The Snow

I did that on Snoqualmie pass in Wa in Dec 1968 4 days after I got back from Vietnam in my new 69 Olds Cutlass S that at that time had 150 miles on it. The road was about 6 lanes wide right there and I used all of them.

In the 48 I was going down the street headed to work and some guy decided to pull out in front of that old truck and I locked up the brakes and spun. Snow with black ice under it. Someone with some authority in the city must have seen me as I drove to town in the company truck three hours later and they had sanded and deiced that section.

Re: AD Fun In The Snow

The links do work. My current batch of snow is gone so am not going out and try to top that doing donuts on my lawn mower.

Re: AD Fun In The Snow

sure the links work, but he said he was trying to post the video. there is no youtube embed code that will work on phpBB software, so if you want to post the video in the thread without having someone click a link:

copy the video URL, the youtu.be links will not work, it will be an https://www.youtube.com/watch url from your browser address bar

delete the s in https.

delete the & and anything after it.

paste the modified link in your post, no brackets or anything needed.

it will show up in your post
