Re: what did everyone get this week?

Man, nice comp there. I need a bigger one for sure the 22 gallons isn't enough for a cut off wheel. I got my bumper on, looks pretty clean and only cost $20 from a board member.

And yes its a GMC bumper on my Chevy. It looks sweet though. Waiting on the bolts from GMCPauls since one of them stripped out the hole.

Re: what did everyone get this week?

cool compressor, I sold mine cheap, I failed to drain the water out of it periodically and the tank rusted from the inside out, I had it for 15 years and it was still going strong, but now I am in the market for another, that one looks pretty cool. just pull that water squirter on the bottom every so often.

Re: what did everyone get this week?

I just bought a 68 lwb c10 with no bed off ebay just so I could use a almost perfect lwb fleet bed. Gonna pick up tomarrow. I also bought a fuel pump for my suburban since it crapped out on me at work but at least I work for Advance Auto and do some other work at a dealership so not to bad of a week. I think me and my bro have that same air compressor.

Re: what did everyone get this week?

Well I started ordering parts for my brakes upgrade and suspension. I got some springs and shocks from GMC Pauls and I got my Baer brakes ordered.

I'm trying to decide on getting either Bonspeed wheels or Billet Specialties.Attachment 244393 Name: Billet Specialties wheel.gif

What do you guys think. The Bonspeed are more expensive, but look awesome with color forging option. I plan on getting them color forged if I decide to get the Bonspeeds.

Re: what did everyone get this week?

Got a bunch of Mardi Gras beads. No truck stuff here.

I'll be glad when Wednesday is here and I don't have to deal with Mardi Gras, well at least till next year when the wife and kids want to hit the parades again.

Re: what did everyone get this week?

Love the compressor! I've got a little dude but would like to upgrade to something like that.
Like the billet specialties better, you may get sick of the color someday then you're stuck.
I welded in my O2 sensor bung and now the new EFI runs!

Re: what did everyone get this week?

I ordered new arm rests, window cranks, door handles, dash pad, and right side window regulator.
As far as actual work. the gas gauge now works, the interior is removed and I collapsed the steering column, getting it closer to the dash, to gain a little room.

Re: what did everyone get this week?

lots of great work getting accomplished here! I put a new super duty battery in my burb. Picked up a 400lbs push bumper for my ramp truck. Changed the oil, made all the lights work (with a new turn signal switch), changed my steering wheel, and had to flush out my trans with 125 quarts of tranny fluid to get the water out in my '71 C20 (soon to be daily driver). Probably gonna need a new trans soon.

Re: what did everyone get this week?

I picked up my tool box that I have been drooling over for the last two months. Now I can retire the milk crate and cardboard box that I had been using since the garage was finished. It's a little over 5 feet tall x 18" deep x 52" wide. Now I just have to organize all my tools.......Jerry
