finally stop to say hello.
I've been stopping by this web site for many years. Learned alot just reading about everyone's fun with trucks.I signed on to enter the truck of the month cause the 67 chevy step side I am driving daily has been in the family for 19 years and it sounded like the shoe fit. I had trouble getting my pix loaded but with help from the great people on the board,.. Here I am.

Re: finally stop to say hello.
You're probably looking at these pictures and saying wait that's not a 67 front clip on that small back window truck . Well when I got the the truck 19 years ago it looked like someone had been pushing cars with no front bumper (ruff to say the least). Money was right on a 69 c20 wrap ($75) so that's what it got. Since then a 72 grille and bumper ended there. And that rear bumper? It came off the front of on IHC Scout II. https://67-72chevytrucks.com/attachm...?dl=1610950357

Re: finally stop to say hello.
Wow did you not experience any rubbing with the 285’s? I have 275-60 and mine rub the frame a little when it’s in a bind.

Re: finally stop to say hello.
Sorry, not frame I meant fender. Mines not bad it just squeals a little bit in this turn on my road going uphill that’s banked the wrong direction. It’s terrible, it’s seriously the most awkward piece of road I’ve ever seen haha But I live on a somewhat rough back road, so that might be the difference.

Re: finally stop to say hello.
Looking back at the year for my '67 ...I had a new windshield installed , changed the power steering pump and box , built and installed a shifter box and rear upper shock relocation brackets and removed all the bed wood and strips and bought some beetle kill pine.
