Blazer chassis

This might be hard to answer without a picture. I have a 70 2wd k5 my question is on the chassis at the very rear past the last body mount the rear rails have a very slight angle instead of being straight is this normal.

yes that is where the Blazer frame slopes down for the bumper to attach to it, different than trucks Blazers only use the outer bumper brackets the inner is the frame.
