Whats it worth? NOS NP241C

I have a brand new NP241C transfer case that has never been installed in a truck. I acquired at a dealership auction in the early 90's. At the time, I drove K5 Blazers and wanted to keep for a spare.

The numbers on it are as follows:
241C
Model - 1563 7131
Serial # - 58 941
Ratio - 272

Would like to trade for NP205 with adaptor to fit TH400. I am located in Ohio.

Is this for a solid axle(right drop) or IFS(left drop)?

Jasper wants 1300+ for a reman. Transfercase express wants $895 new, 595 reman. exchange. Does it have a mechanical speedo or the VSS? Pass side drop 241s were only around for a couple years. I believe it uses the same trans adapter as a 208. Anybody else know?

I checked the transfer case tonight. It does not have a mechanical speedometer.

There is a two (2) pin connector near the shift arm. I guess this is for the electronic speedo.

Special -K,

I am located near Cincinnati, Ohio.

Do you have a NP205 that will bolt up directly to a TH400 without a coupling?

I have seen the transfer cases with a female 32 spline input made specifically for the turbo 400 applications.

Let me know.

That 2 pin connector is for the 4wd idiot light in the dash.

What I have are all 70-72 vintage mated to TH350.Not sure what it takes to mount the TH400 or the spline count.

Check the NP241C and found the mechanical speedometer connection. As I stated before, there is also a two (2) pin electrical connector that was identified as the 4WD switch by another member.

Re: Whats it worth? NOS NP241C

Do you still have that 241 case around? I may be interested in buying it or trading for it. My '68 burb has a turbo 400 with an np205 fixed yoke in it - 32 spline. I think that's what you're looking for. The only problems are that's my daily driver and I live way over in Arizona. But maybe we can work something out - if you still have it.
