Np205/6l80 mount problem

Not sure if a 4x4 question or a lsx question

I have a 1972 k10 with 6l80 and a np205. I have advance adapters adapter. But the mount doesn’t seem to line up with mounts on crossmember, before I modify or make a spacer am I doing something wrong? Does anyone have a picture of theirs?

There are some pics of what I did in my build thread. Transfercase install starts on page 11. I made an adapter that raised the t-case up. Engine and trans would angle down to much without it. Also t-case would not bolt up. Actually had to modify the one I made originally and make it taller.
Edit- The initial version of the mount adapter is on page 7 post 163
