87 K20 208 case will 700R4 swap 400

I'm new to this later stuff but I have a 1987 V20 pickup with the C6P 8600 gvw chassis. My 87 GM order book in one part shows it was optional to get a MXO overdrive automatic with the 208 tc. It shows it not available with the 30 series 4x4 with the 205 case. So what do I need to convert my MX1 turbo 400 to the OD MX1? The dealer thought the transfer case was different?

Re: 87 K20 208 case will 700R4 swap 400

Th350 and 700r4 use the 27 spline input 208
Th400 and Sm465 use the 32 spline input 208

Re: 87 K20 208 case will 700R4 swap 400

So do they make a 32 spline input shaft for the 700R4 tranny and does the 700R4 stay the same length and bolt right in here?
Can a 700R4 and T case from a Blazer or 10 series pickup bolt up? Any good website thread to explain this?
Thanks for the info.
