Anyone have experience w/P-R-N-OD-3-2-1 tilt column lens?

I recently installed a new clear lens with the P R N OD 3 2 1 on my tilt column...and the indicator does NOT align at all properly. It looks nice,
but since the transmission sets up the detents, I cant even get it close.
Anyone have any input on this matter, or know where to get one that WORKS!

No.....but try putting the tranny in neutral then hold the column indicator on N. Then tweak a little to get it right. What back drive linkage setup you using?

Hey Frank,
I am using the stock linkage....but the P-R-N half of the indicator is spaced way too close together, so close in my opinion that its beyond a slight adjustment. I bought this about 2yrs ago, so I dont really know if there are "good" ones and "bad" ones to get.

I have been running the same set up you have for 5+ years and with the stock linkage I don't think there is any way to get there from here. It just will never line up because as you stated its all controlled by the detents in the transmission. At the Good Guys show I picked up a Kugel Linkage set up and you can adjust it. Hopefully this will work. All the indicators I've seen are the same. Like I said I hope the Kugel will remedy it. But don,t know for sure because it is still laying on the front seat. I've been lazy!

I don't know where to buy one, but you could make your own by buffing the letters off the original lens and putting a sticker where the needle falls for each gear. I made this one for my truck.
