My 67 chevy panel collection

I finally got the Napa panel I have been wanting. I also scored the Maytag one as well. I need to stay away from stuff like this though, its addictive and can be just as costly as the full size stuff. ANd they even have buddy buckets in them, no wonder they are made as a bank.

Tim
the Maytag one has 2004 on it but I do not see one on the Napa panel. It is made by Liberty Classics if that helps
On the bottom it has all the different licensing stamps and the one for Dodge has 2010 so i would say it is at least that new

Re: 67 Napa Panel truck

On the Panels, the date on the box or on the bottom of the truck will probably be first year of casting. I'm a regular at NAPA but mine doesn't always have this stuff, unless it's NASCAR. I found my black & yellow NAPA pickup at a store in Hanover, PA. They give me all the hand-out stuff like hats, 5 gal bucket, football

It took me a while but I saved a search on eBay a while back that netted me both of these at the same time from different sellers. I have not seen any since though

Re: 67 Napa Panel truck

I don't frequent this area but the title caught my eye. My grandson has a bunch of these car type banks here at our house. Since I have a panel he might like one of these. Is Ebay the go to place to find one of these, or is there a better avenue?

Re: 67 Napa Panel truck

Bringing this back up. I finally made a deal a few months back to source what I thought was the only version of the panel left and took possession of a USPS 67 panel. Fast forward to the end of last month and my Ebay search had a hit for a version I have never seen. It was a buy it now so it had to come home. It was in Canada and I was a little leary of the shipping. It was mailed on July 28 and finally showed up today.

Re: 67 Napa Panel truck

I just sold my 2 extra Napa panels. One went to Germany and one went to Canada. Talking with the gentleman from Canada I found out there is at least one more Canadian model out there. So the hunt begins lol

Re: 67 Napa Panel truck

Apparently there are at least 2 Canadian models. This one was delivered on Saturday. Quebec to MD in 3 days. Most of the time it takes two weeks to get something delivered across the state lol

Re: My 67 chevy panel collection

I like both of those Canadian ones. I have not found those anywhere. It's either because they're really hard to find or because I haven't looked.

Only 3 days?? How about this, Richard. Last week I get a piece of mail from EZ-Pass. I figured my son blew a toll booth again. But no, it had my name on it. I thought must be a foul up, I haven't been on any toll roads since I don't know. I open it up and yep, nice overhead picture of the '95 Suburban and a picture of none other but my license plate? Huh??? WTF?? I look to see where this happened, the bay bridge. I think and think, when the heck did I go over that? I look at the date, Aug. '20! I have to really think hard, but finally remember. That summer, before I took this job I had for 1 1/2 years I just lost, I worked on a customer's cabin on the Severn River in Arnold, as I have each summer for about 5 years... except last summer. Every year I buzz over to Kent Island to kick back and have a crab cake sammeech and a beer on the water there. I do remember now that coming back there were no toll booths any longer and wondered how the heck do I pay the toll? It took me a year and a half to find out! It's not USPS, they got it here in under a week. I just paid the 4 bucks yesterday by phone. What an ingenious system. Good thing I hadn't died!!

Pictures don't lie

I will not say they don't exist but I have never found any. Every Suburban I have found has either been 66 and older or 93 and newer. Never seen one in the 67-90 range. Up until about a yer ago I had no idea that these Canadian edition panels existed so there may be some out there.
