Re: Project Eat Soot

Awesome job, it sure looks really nice! How does it ride with the shorter wheel base? On your cross over manifold, I've used a 4 1/2" angle grinder with a flap wheel and removed the dodge and let the other stuff. It looks pretty cool after you sand it all out and polish it up.

Re: Project Eat Soot

Nice truck! i have been thinking about doing the same engine swap. Did you use the factory gas tank and lines from the tank to the engine?

Re: Project Eat Soot

Thanks all of you. As far as the ride it rides fairly good still a little choppy with the short wheelbase. It needs some weight in the back still. I had the 6" Alcan springs made for this application with this engine so the front is dialed. To answer the question 7" lift total with the Dana 60 front it gave me another 1". The rear has an ORD shackle flip and 4" ORD springs. Tires are BFG 37x12.50 on 17x10 Welds

The fuel tank is a factory replacement tank and I ran all new lines that I made..basically same as stock with a return line to the tank. Pretty simple setup really

Re: Project Eat Soot

What size lift is on the truck and tires? I give you mad respect, the rig you you have has to be the cleanest i have ever seen. I would like to do a cummins swap in the future. Sweet truck.

Re: Project Eat Soot

Hello Gents, I have finally got around to try and finish things up on this thing. I have been mainly been working on interior. I'm also thinking about adding full trim to it. Here are some progress shots.

Re: Project Eat Soot

The interior looks awesome! Great work. Nice garage and shop too! I think upper and lower trim will just add more to it and it will look great!

Re: Project Eat Soot

All you experts have any thoughts on value of this thing?
May be tossing the idea around of moving it. I have no top for it at the moment.
Thanks
