This same light has been living on Ebay a long time.He needs to make his listing fees back.If he had any sense he`d list it as a`69 Camaro back-up lamp.I have one w/o the rubber.I have a perfect piece of rubber, looks new.I guess mine`s only worth about $359.99.

Re: For those who have some extra $$$

Oh, but it's "rare" and came in the original dusty beat up Genuine GM box right off the parts shelf from some old Chevrolet dealers Parts room where it has been sitting for the past thirty years until the factory reps came by and told them to throw it away because it was obsolete and it ended up in the dumpster where the gent selling it dug it out and hauled it home to put on Ebay cause ya know them guys with those O'l Chebbie truck will pay any price to get one of those rare lights.

I went back and looked at his other items for sale and read through about three pages of feedback. It looks like he specializes in NOS GM stuff and seriously interesting hot rod pieces. But from the feedback what he sells is exactly in the condition he says it is and is good stuff. It all looks overpriced to me but I'm way out of the loop on prices anyhow.

I had to go back and look to see where the seller lives because my best buddy sells a lot of GM pieces that he hauled home 30 years ago when he worked in a GM parts room and the stuff got thrown out because the factory guy said it was obsolete. He found out that in the box nos am-fm 8 tracks can bring on bidding wars. But the stuff he has has low starting prices with no reserve.
