I am not sure its made of plastic. Its more like light weight metal.

If you look in your Jegs catalog there is a (2) light system with wiring for like $25. This will allow you to put one at the driver and one at the passenger. Just a thought. I couldnt find it in their web site, but have seen it in the catalog and thought about getting it many times.

You guys are right, its made of plastic. Don't need one now after all. Sometime ago I bought a power window/door setup including the wiring from another forum member and he ended up giving me the entire truck wiring harnesses and it included the courtesy light assembly.
