Post Convert 3/4 ton to 1/2 ton

As I have a 3/4 ton '71 GMC and want the looks of a 1/2 ton GMC, can I just change front spindles and coils plus the rear end? I want to lower the truck 4" and use 5 lug wheels all around. The darn truck is just too high.

On the front end, you will need to use the 1/2 ton lower a arms, all 4 ball joints, & the outer tie rod ends, then the spindles will bolt on. Are you leaf or coil on the rear?
