WTB 71 Blazer PARTS

1. I would like to Buy a the wheel set up for a 71 Blazer 4x4 (hub cap, B-ring). this is for a stock chrome 15" Wheel. If it wouldn't have come on a 71 from the factory, I don't want it. No matter the shape or condition, post a pic and I'll look at it.

2. RUBBER, Window-door-windshield- seals, bushings, NOS Better, open to anything.

3. Brown Dashboard cover

I will add stuff to this as I find it, trying to make this old Girl a daily driver.

Re: WTB 71 Blazer PARTS

If i understand you, you have chrome wheels and are looking for hubcaps? I assume the dogdish style? I don't think any beauty rings came on these rigs. There is also a full hubcap available for these.

Re: WTB 71 Blazer PARTS

The wheels are the ones from the factory but some rust hides any bite marks fro any rings or such, if you have something that came on a stock 71 post a pic, and I'll try to remember what came on this one(it was my uncles before his death). I'll Post a photo of the wheels later today. thanks Pete

Those are not factory. Factory were not chrome. These could have been the ones but chromed later...

Re: WTB 71 Blazer PARTS

Could this have been a dealer add-on? It also came with the CB Kit, which was a dealer add-on? All 5 rims are the same and where on there, when bought new. This was a show room model That my grandfather bought new for my uncle right off the floor. I will pull the specs off the glove box door if this will help.

Re: WTB 71 Blazer PARTS

A little more info, i have an original brochure that shows the wide wheels like yours (but in white) with no hubcaps. I am also not aware of any chrome wheels factory...
Post any info you may have. It sounds cool.

Oh here is the specs from the dash.

I'd also like to add a pair of Chrome Bumper Guards to my needs list. Thanks for any help. Pete

Re: WTB 71 Blazer PARTS

Those rims could have been a dealer add on I guess. When my dad bought his new 1972 black 2wd stepside with a 402/400/411 The first thing he did was buy a set of wide low profile tires and place them on those rims with new corvette rally caps with the crossed flags. A great look. A popular look back then

Re: WTB 71 Blazer PARTS

Yea that was what I was thinking pound, It also came with a CB KIT with the long whip antenna. I can't find any center cap's for this or a set of five chrome beauty rings. I will keep trying!

Re: WTB 71 Blazer PARTS

I doubt they had anything on them. The purpose for the chrome ring is to accent a non chrome wheel. Your spid doesn't list any hubcap option. So if it had any hubcaps it would have been the chrome version of the dogdish hubcaps. I don't think that chrome wheel with a white dogdish in the center would look good

Re: WTB 71 Blazer PARTS

You may want to contact member Special K . He is really knowlegable on these trucks, and has a steel wheel fetish. He could probably answer any Q's you may have. You will see him all over the board. Sorry about my spelling.

John
