1965 c10 stepside

I have been restoring my 65 step side for about a year now, I already painted it and now need to re wire it and bolt everything back in place, i.e. The bumpers, bed, bench seat, and also the weather strip. My question is I also have a 2002 Silverado 1500HD that I'm looking at remodeling into a pre runner or something down the line. Will the complete suspension from the Silverado fit the 65 step side? I was thinking about the drive shaft the rear axle and the front axel and transfer case and also swapping out the engine and transmission from the Silverado to the 65. Will this work? If so where can I buy ls swap mounts for the 65 and if someone in California can do this at a shop

The '88 and newer trucks have a completely different frame and suspension design than the '63-'87 trucks. You would have to use the entire 02 frame and suspension. Mounting the '65 body onto that frame will be a HUGE undertaking. I know others have attempted and apparently some have succeeded, but I would never attempt it.

You can put the motor and trans in the 65. Alot of work to put the 65 cab on the newer truck.
