My guess is that the conversion was done in the late 80's, so using that dash was much like using the dash out of a new truck would be today. Not my cup of tea, but it might be OK if done right. I wish they would have had more dash pictures so you can tell if it's a quality swap or not.

not bad, but I agree, not liking the dash (or carpet color) too much.
