Lowering a 72 c-10

Quick question for you guys. I installed 2.5 drop spindles on the front and 3" springs on the back. I would like to lower it more in the back but I do not want to install a shock relocator kit. I called CPP and they said 3" is all I can do without a shock kit. Is this true or can I install lower springs. I plan on installing drop spings on the front so I will need drop shocks up front?

You can probably get away with a 4 inch drop in the rear without relocating your shocks. I did mine 5 inches and rear and had to relocate the shocks. You will not need drop shocks up front if you use a 1 inch lowering spring.
