Stock Shock Upgrade for 72 4x4

I am looking to upgrade my worn out shocks on a 72 step-side 4x4, with a 402, that spends most of the time on the street. I like the stock height, but would like a better (smoother) ride on the street, as well as performance for when I am off-road. The retailers in the area push me towards the Rancho RS9000X's or Procomp ES9000's. Any recommendations. Thanks!

I put a set of the Rancho RS9000X's on my lifted 69 K20 and do like the ability to dial the shock into to my specific vehicle. I'd buy another set of them for sure.

I purchased the same and picked up the in-cab system so that I don't have to crawl out and dial them in.
