Buying this tomorrow...did I get a good deal?
I couldn't pass it up. It is originally from Oregon and man do you Oregoneans have some rust issues....the floor is toast as are the rockers and corners.
It is a C-20 with no rust through on the headliner area and a recently partly rebuild 350 to the tune of $2800. She got ripped off. She wanted $1200 and with the rust issues I really wasn't interested and suggested she go to the next interested party but was very willing to take my $800....is it Christmas already? The thing runs better than my 07 GMC and has an original radio, reupholstered seat, rebuilt motor and the doors actually look like the rust might have missed them. The bed is pretty good too as is the original tailgate.

Looks to me like a pretty solid buy. I have paid way more and got way less.
What are your plans?

My Plans....Hmmmm...same question my wife asked me after I told her I was buying it...right after "Are you kidding me?" I have a shortbed frame and another longhorn with a pretty good cab and loaded....402, a/c, p/s, etc. Trying to get a shortbed big block out of all this. The engine and trans are so sweet that I don't know whether to resell it whole or part it out. The cab is salvagable and has a clear title but does have some rust.

Re: Buying this tomorrow...did I get a good deal?
LOL....wrong! I love it when people that are not from Oregon say they hear how green it is. Wrong. Only the western 1/3rd of the state is green. The other 2/3rds is brown, bone dry and kind of desolate. Granted, if the truck came from the valley then you have a good chance of rust but the biggest part of the state is a great place to by cars, trucks and RVs. We do not salt our roads to most rigs out here are pretty rust free.

Re: Buying this tomorrow...did I get a good deal?
I'd say its a good deal. I paid 1500 for my 68 c20. its a running driving straight 6 4 speed with radio delete. its funny though, my interior is identical to yours minus the door panels and steering wheel, same color combo though. The rust you described sounds exactly like how mine is also.

Well I can still see the rockers. That's only seriously rusty by Texas standards. If you want to see rust, come up a little further north, we'll show you some rust!
