Across from my church.....

this truck has been sitting there ,I've been attending this church for 3 1/2 years now. This truck has been there all that time and has never been moved. Doesn't look like there has ever been any kind of activity around it.

Re: Across from my church.....

You see it all time. People park 'em and let 'em rot. If you go up and ask them if it's for sale, they will just say "No, gonna fix it up one of these days".

Re: Across from my church.....

Rust forming is an activity isnt it ?
Go knock on the door and ask if they would be interested in selling it ?
I actually had good luck that way with my 67 Shortbed, now it just sits in my garage for the last 2 yrs but I am finally getting around to working on it

Re: Across from my church.....

I'd have cash in hand, if it's what you want you need to make an offer and be able to pay right then......
If you say I'll be back tomorrow or something they might tell a family member or whatever and could get talked out of selling it.

Re: Across from my church.....

Looks like it's moved once in a while, the grass is cut underneath it. Nice little truck. There's one here in Santa Maria that looks an awful lot like that. It's been lowered (2/4) with similar paint. I love that little truck.

Re: Across from my church.....

Instead of knocking on the door, I usually put a note in the mailbox asking if the object (truck, vette, tractor, ect) is for sale, along with my name and phone number.
If you get lucky, the guys wife gets the mail and you are in b'ness-
