61 power steering mount, does this look right?

Does this look right to you guys?
Seems a bit wonkey to me, i think ill weld a plate over that slot in the frame.

I have a 61 truck as well...my power steering box had the same installation issue.

Like you are going to do, I welded a small plate over the top of the slot in the frame, took a bit of fiberglass body filler, smoothed out the rough edges and hit it with some black rattle-can...

Good luck on your project...it looks just like mine and mine works great!

The 60-62 kit I got off of CPP was a bolt on kit and included spacers. No slot on my frame
