Greetings from the mighty Mo!
Hello all!
Finally getting the time to make an entry post to this forum! By the looks of this forum, it seems very active and I'm looking forward to learning and reading as much as I can from everyone! Onto my project, I have had my 1970 C10 for going around 11 years now. Drove it all through high school and had to retire her when work got distant, and affordability was on top of my list of priorities. Honestly been one of the best trucks I have owned and miss driving it like I did growing up. Years down the road now and I finally got her home for good, it has been rough for me to find the time and place to start bringing her to life with my vision. After many years of being on the backburner and brainstorming, I think I have finally decided what I want to do with it. Hopefully I can get a lot of insight from this forum and its community to get pushed to start really putting this truck together! I want to get that feeling again from when i was a young teen driving around in it every day, but obviously better as an adult with money lol! So, my ideas as of right now for the truck are for sure a v8. supercharged LS motor. No idea which year motor yet. Get the body torn apart and brought back to life. I recently found nolimitengeering on Instagram and fell in love with what they do for our trucks. Was really going for the pro-touring style for my truck. The work they do seems like it's worth every penny for what my goals are. I want the truck to be street drivable and hopefully one day take it to a track to put some laps down. Not too interested in High HP numbers. 800 is kind of max for what I want. In my head right now, the craziest part of this build to me is that I want to put in a sequential transmission. I just can't get the imagination of ripping through the gears and the sound they produce out of my head. I just start smiling ear to ear! Paint and interior stuff are still up in the air on what route I want to take! Any and all information and guidance are what I really look forward to from ya'll. I'm not looking to be spoon fed information here, I for sure will be scouring these forums to read as much as I can from past to current posts. But I will listen and take into consideration for constructive criticism some may have about certain things they have experienced with their builds! Thanks for having me! cheers, Kenzie |

Re: Greetings from the mighty Mo!
The majority of them were probably used up as work trucks many years ago
