Stopped by a junkyard today...

Didn't find much for me, but someone may see something they can't live without...

Windom, MN, just on the NE corner of town on Hwy 60.

Suburban made into a trailer. Rear lower hatch door looked pretty good, besides the paint anyway.

Had this nifty rear air set up still inside and a headliner...

This yellow and white truck had a lot of options. The one I was looking for, tilt auto column had been switched out for some reason.

I did like the aux fuel tank set up though, never seen that before and it might all be there yet. See knob left of dash?

The tool box looked good, the door didn't.

Re: Stopped by a junkyard today...

There were two blazers there...only pics of one though.

Then there was the 69 or 70 stuck in the tree...

One good driver fender on another

and his tow truck...

There were at leat three other trucks there, not much for options or good sheet metal, but parts is parts.

Wish I was in that area. I would like to checkout the grill on the 69-70. Mine is a little bent.

Re: Stopped by a junkyard today...

There was another 69-70 there that had a decent grill. The bottom was pushed a little in the middle and the passenger side had some smallish dings.

That blazer had a double wall top, with small crack at front driver corner by windshield. The hatch had a crack in the middle above the glass. All repairable I'm sure. The other blazer top was a single wall. Bodies on both were pretty rusty even by MN standards.

That AC unit was connected, but I wouldn't bet on it working anymore.

Agreed, probably an easy $400 for all of it sitting there

Interesting! I have never seen an option for main aux tank before. I think that is cool!!

Re: Stopped by a junkyard today...

If you went back,I`d be interested in that Main/Aux.gauge switch.Looks like tank is gone. The cross pieces for the bed floor including rear sill are valueable pieces.I always save those. All you need is wood and strips and you have a floor.

Re: Stopped by a junkyard today...

The small stuff like the latches and hinges on the tool box door would be nice. I have the door, but not that.....
