1964 steering wheel om 65 c10

I read on the forum that this is possible but it does not mate up to my column. Can anyone identify if this is not the original column? Maybe it was changed when the previous owner added Power steering?

I had to do a double take. I just sold one just like it. Dug up my picture but can't see the base. How does your wheel look for space once the chrome is mounted?
I have an aftermarket column in my 65. Perhaps someone can chime in with the diameter of their stock column.
