Cheyenne super, aluminum glove box panel

Where can I find one? I found one on eBay, but it also comes with the woodgrain decal that I don't really need. Surely one of the online companies has these.

Re: Cheyenne super, aluminum glove box panel

I think they were reproduced at one time. The originals were not a decal, the woodgrain was "etched" or whatever they call it, onto the metal.

Thanks. Yes, trying to find one (new or old). Originals were silkscreened I think.

Re: Cheyenne super, aluminum glove box panel

Thanks for the offer, but I already have 4 glovebox doors as display pieces. Just really need that piece. I understand you not wanting to separate. I was really hoping one of the dozen or so companies out there had a box of these. How much would you want for a whole door with a decent (minimal scratches) aluminum piece? Thanks again.

Re: Cheyenne super, aluminum glove box panel

Nope. The Cheyenne super, woodgrain-looking panel on the glovebox. The woodgrain is on a piece of aluminum mounted to the glovebox door. I really need the aluminum part and can add the woodgrain myself.

Re: Cheyenne super, aluminum glove box panel

Do you have a junker or one you can borrow from some one?? If so you could use it as a pattern and get one laser cut. We use laser and water jet services all the time for many things and they are very reasonable to deal with.

Re: Cheyenne super, aluminum glove box panel

I don't have one, but a pattern would easily be made. The raised lip all around on the aluminum would be the tricky part, but doable.
