Question Lowering a 94 Yukon GT 4x4

I did do a search and it didn't come up with much.

I had a 2wd 1980 Jimmy back in the mid-90s and I regret ever selling it. Recently I got the bug to get back into something similar and figure the Tahoe/Yukon is the way to go.

As everyone knows, 2dr 2wd is pretty rare so I have been looking at 4wd. I have found the above mentioned Yukon GT and want to get it closer to the ground.

A thread on another forum leads me to believe that an axle flip for the back and drop keys for the front will get it closer the ground. Reading through here, I am getting the impression that will not work. Which is it?

Thanks in advance!
