Good for someone up that way. I wonder what I'd have into one with shipping cross country...and hoping it arrives still "ready to paint". Sure is a purdy thang, though

Some minor adjustment may be needed?

He is a board member, doesn't post a lot. His cabs get pointed out once-in-a-while and people complain about the price so I don't think he is terribly keen on posting.
Body shop work isn't cheap, and here you get to see the end product before you write the check.

Ya I remember seeing his ads in the for sale section, ~5000 for a cab if I remember right.

Re: Rust free ready to paint cabs

It's not for me, but a very viable option for that guy who takes his truck to his local shop and is told "it's gonna cost many thousands of dollars and a year or two to get rid of all this rust". He can write a check and move forward. Definitely for the guy with deeper pockets than most of us here.
There must be some demand otherwise he would have quit. Priced a "new" 69 Camaro body lately?

Not for $7000.00. Not in my lifetime!

This.
People spend more on engines. I bet you could drop that many duckies on a transmission.

It's only money you'll make more ! For the average Joe it's a deal , you could easily spend that much on equipment to rebuild your truck .

Still, it's better to do your own body work and save that $7000.00 for more important stuff. Like an engine! Do you know what a monster LS motot $7000.00 will buy? Or, if you already have the $5000.00 for your motor, just think what an additional $7000.00 will get you? How about the 550 HP supercharged LSA, complete with wiring harness, accessory belt drive, and your choice of manual or automatic trans?

That's why I got myself into night school, got certified as a welder on both MIG and TIG and learned to do all of my own paint and body. Those skills let me save the money on that stuff so I can buy GO-FAST parts! HOOAH!
