67 with leafs

I am working on a 67 SWB stepper with leafs in rear. Has anyone ever changed the leafs to a newer model leaf?

Re: 67 with leafs

Did your truck start as a GMC? Or is it a 4wd? I put later springs # 22-553 which is a symmetrical 1975 or so rear multileaf. I had to redrill the pilot hole
1" rearward on the axle spring perch on my 67 4wd. Works fine and less expensive.

1975 k10 rear 5 leaf 52 inch springs with overload -- must be off centered about an inch
