Save the 3 on the tree?

I've got a flipper rig and it retains the 3 on the tree column but currently its a floor shift,is the column worth swapping and saving or a waste of time?. .My first rig was a 3 on the column and I have fond memories of that truck.

Removed my 3OTT and added a floor shifted automatic.

Retained the column and it has been a non-issue for around 25 years.

Don't even notice it's there.

Re: Save the 3 on the tree?

I saved my 3 on the tree for sentimental reasons. This is the first vehicle I ever drove. Used to sit in my dad's lap and steer as a child. I learned to drive a standard in this truck so I wanted to save it during the restoration. Finding parts were an issue but I ended searching all over and found some for my column rebuild.
