lwb to swb help

ok i know theres threads but i cant find any can someone post links on how much i need to cut to make a shortbed work on my 73 c20 im plaining on rebuilding it to show everyone i can turn a bucket into a clean truck. so any help or links would help thanks in advance

14" out of the middle, and about 5.75" off the rear iirc. It is best to have your short bed before cutting to double check everything. When I did mine I cut the rear out so the bed would lay flat and then measure and marked for the middle that way I knew exactly how much my truck needed.
