Aluminum cast cover oxidation

Any idea how to clean Aluminum cast cover oxidation? Clean it or paint it

There are some cleaners that can remove oxidation but it won't make them look new, just better. Mothers Mag polish works well too but you will need a lot of elbow grease and you will get a closer to stock look. You can always sand them and polish them up for a shine.

I personally just painted mine. (black block, silver everything else) For comparison, The valley cover is new so that is raw stock aluminum.
