Exclamation WTB Heater Delete (Interior Plate Only)

I know, I know, a shot in the dark.... but has anyone an interior/dash heater delete panel they want to part with?? they look a lot like the radio delete plate, but a bit wider and not as long.

finally got the engine bay plate, need the interior piece now.

thanks!!!

I found it and sandblasted it. Minor pitting in 2 small spots. No clips. $25 shipped. Do you want a picture?

Is it possible that you found/blasted a radio delete plate? I have only seen a few of these heater delete plates ever, but if I recall they had fixed bendable tabs which were part of the plate stamping. I have to go out to the shop to get some other parts pics for a couple other board members right now, I will see if I can dig the one out that I have stashed somewhere.

Why aren't these reproduced? I'm sure there would be buyers for all the heater delete parts... myself included!

Re: WTB Heater Delete (Interior Plate Only)

Here are some comparison pics to go with my above post, I also included front & rear installed views. I am not offering anything up for sale, only sharing the pics to help save some possible confusion/mixups here in Dougs WTB thread.

Re: WTB Heater Delete (Interior Plate Only)

Classic.

humm, your right. I thought the same thing. the radio delete has the slide off clips, but the heater delete has the intergal clips that are formed into the stamping.

Dave plans to post up a pic so we will be able to see firsthand.

if it's a radio delete, I will pass. I have several of those.......

Re: WTB Heater Delete (Interior Plate Only)

Looks like it might be a radio delete. Here are the pics. 2 9/16 x 8. If it is a radio delete I was not intending to pass this off as a heater delete. That's what I thought it was.

Jeremy, you still look to be very well stocked in the radio delete area, maybe you could share some install/attaching idea's with Doug on the radio delete panels and that could get him by until he finds an original.
