Re: i bought my grandson his first truck a 72 lwb chevy.

Hey Grandpa billsbowtie...
Why isn't your grandson smiling?
He should have a grin a mile wide? Oh I know...you bought the truck and it has a small block and not a 402 BB. I bet if you tell him you will install a 402 BB then the grin will develop. I am sure glad he wasn't given a Ford. Who knows what he would have done. Again this young man and supporter of 67-72 Chevy/GMC trucks has a very very wise grandpa!!

Re: i bought my grandson his first truck a 72 lwb chevy.

by the time he gets old enough to drive he may want to put a 4 cyl. in it because of gas prices. my frist car was a 72 chevelle with a 396 it got 8 miles to the gal.

Hey billsbowtie...I forgot to tell you that you need to teach your grandson that the only girl worth looking at is a girl who likes Chevy's and GMC's. I am sure you have had a Grandpa and Grandson talk but I just wanted to make sure you had your bases covered.

Re: i bought my grandson his first truck a 72 lwb chevy.

Cute GS Bill!
My grandson just turned two last week and he loves Hot Wheels cars, so he took all my die cast 69 trucks off the shelf in the garage and now I cant find them.
I dont know whether to hug him again or cry.
