I'm new to the world of burbs, but I think 67 - 70, the only A/C you could get was overhead. It wasn't till 71 and 72 when you could get the in dash A/C and rear A/C.

Their is a link in that auction that shows some more pics of that 'burb and a/c is on the SPID, so me thinks LHM is correct

I can not help you on the AC, but that carb story sounds funny. I would have a hard time paying for a vehical that doesn't run even if the seller says it does. I am not an expert but it looks like a carb adapter on the intake.

It has good sheet metal and a big block so it should be good property.

Re: how can this be right ?

One of my burbs or one that I have seen somewhere has factory air listed on the glovebox and no dash holes, it is the overhead type. Like Longhorn Man said, My 72 has rear air and in the dash.

The running thing I would be a little worried about. I am one of those people that you would have to tell me to my face that it runs...so I can see your expression when your telling me....to see if your lying. The guy I bought my truck from he told me it ran. I never doubted him. I had to towed home. Dumped gas in the carb and it fired right up.

Wish I was that lucky. PO of my burb swore up and down I could drive it home. It was close to 200 miles and I've pulled my share of cars out of fields so I knew better. After I got it home I found a hole in the bottom of the fuel tank that would've seriously affected my distance per tank. To make matters worse once I plumbed a pick-up line into a gerry can of gas the carb spewed fuel everywhere BUT into the motor. Glad I didn't try to drive it.
