Body hardware kit

Do any of you know of any companies that make a complete body hardware kit, like all the bolts and nuts? I had to convince more then a few of mine and I like using new hardware whenever i put something back together but so far I havent been able to find a company that sells a kit.

Re: Body hardware kit

I know you can get bolt kits for specific things like the bed, fenders, etc from LMC but i havent checked to see if they have "entire truck" kits.

I would check LMC though ....

Stainless is good for the cosmetic/corrosion effects but not for strength!! Beware of the fact that stainless steel is relatively soft and is very easy to twist bolt heads off when applying too much torque.

Another interesting fact about stainless steel is that it will rust if not subjected to a process called passivation after final machining/grinding.

These tidbits brought to you by the whack job in the metallurgy dept.
