Help! What are these parts and where do they go!
These are some parts that I got with my 69 GMC stepside a lot of the parts were taken off before I bought it from previous owner and I have no ideal what they are or where they go? Any help? Hope you can see them alright in the picture, thanks the newbie, Robert

the triangular pieces are core support braces and go on the back side of the rad support next to the fender

Thanks Hugger6933 any ideal on the flat channel...I think that it goes on the bed floor for a support as it is the same width but not sure? Thanks Robert

small brackets may be the rear parking brake cable bracket, hard to tell from the angle of pic

Just now had time to check my post in a few days, Thanks c1069 for the picture on the flat channel support! Pickupman I also thought that the small triangle pieces are for the rear parking brake cables for my cables are not hooked up and I am missing some parts for the parking brake setup and the cables out of the brake drums are just hanging down. Anybody have a picture on where and how they are mounted on a GMC maybe same on the Chevy's? Thanks again guys, Robert

The brackets are riveted to the underside of the frame as shown in the attached pictures. The brackets are adjacent to the front spring mount. The frame that I took the pictures of is upside down but the pictures are labeled correctly.

Yup...Part of the spare tire mount...Yup, it has to be removed to install a rear gas tank. It's riveted to the frame to keep the spare tire from floppin' around. I used mine to build an oil cooler mount.
