yeah i have seen them on some trucks on this page and on ebay they do look pretty tough . any ideas where to buy them from ?

I've seen Warn bumpers on our rigs in the past and they look pretty good. I don't think they still make them, but I've seen them for sale used in the past. Keep an eye on Craigslist. You might be able to modify one from another application too.

there is a guy here in town that has a blazer with a front bumper that looks like it should be on a battle ship or something and when you look at his truck it makes the whole front end look like it is sagging i guess its one heavy sucker

We are dealers for them and they are expensive for us too. They do have a lifetime warranty against breaking. I don't believe they offer one for anything in the sixtys or seventys though

checkout athread in the archives called " new life for a new goose" i wish i had come across this thread before i got mine, he ordered one for a 73/87 gm and it fits nice with few mods, i ordered a 88/98 gm and i have to widen mine by 8 inch approx
