Question: Leaf spring drop - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Figuring out the front end is pretty straight forward, and there's lots of info here about how to go about it. Same goes for coil rear ends. I've got leafs, and I like it that way, but I haven't seen too much about static dropped leaf rear ends. I'm looking at early classics 4" drop leafs and possibly the 1.5" drop shackles for a total of 5.5". If anyone could recommend a better vendor, I'm certainly listening. I don't know anything about drop leafs, and I do not want to c-notch it. How do these work out? Anybody have some pictures/good links?
