No responses yet, thought I'd give you an idea of where to look. Go to Garage Journal and look around, they have tons of stuff on there. http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/

Re: any solar setups on garages ?

I am working on drawing one up for my garage. Going to build a solar air heater. Plan to build it while I off for the Holidays.

Re: any solar setups on garages ?

I have a cheap harbor freight solar panel that I wired to a deep cell battery and I use some LED off road lights for detail illumination on my work bench. It is very crude.

Working on some ideas. Trying to learn Sketchup so using it to decide how to do it. Here is the first shot of a heater that would be 10 foot long and 4 foot tall. An improved version of the down spout heater with more surface area.
