almost ready for paint
I've spent a year and a half doing a frame off
and about got it ready to paint. I put a front crossmember from a 85 chevy with all new disk brakes 411 posi rearend. engine is a 71 350 4 bolt main stock pistons, crane cam, 202 double hump heads everything in motor is new except pistons. everything polished aluminum or chrome topped of with 650 holley double pumper poweder coated chrome & red, new chrome high torque starter. stainless shorty headers Rear tires are micky thompsons on 15 x 10 chrome baby moons fronts are bf goodrich on 15 x 8. Painting it jet black This truck is one of the most soild trucks i've ever seen. It's been a fun project but getting tired of not getting it done Last edited by N2TRUX; 11-11-2010 at 11:25 AM. |

Re: almost ready for paint
Welcome to truck heaven! Looks like a nice project. Don't go and sell it this far in, stick it out and you will be glad you did. Not to mention if you sell at this point you will lose alot of the money that you have dumped into it.

Re: almost ready for paint
Everyone who plays with cars&trucks runs into this at some point! KEEP IT! I have found if you do little things and not get too involved in the big picture(how much work it needs to be completed) you will be amazed at how much you can get done with just one hour every day. thats how I completed my 70 stepper in nine months paint and all . Stay on it looks like a great truck! cheers, Pat
