6 ,7 ,AND 8 "Ralley wheels /Tires
I have amassed a set of 6 ,7 ,and 8 '' Ralley wheels .I am currently running the 6' van Rallies on my 72 truck which look OK. My question is what would be the best tire size to run on the 7 " and 8" on a stock ride height truck ?I will most likely use the 8" wheels but would like your opinions on each in case I go with the 7".
Thanks John |

I've got 15x8's with 275/60/15's with stock ride height. They look tough and fill in the wheel wells nicely. here's a pic
Edit: Found some better pics

Re: 6 ,7 ,AND 8 "Ralley wheels /Tires
Just put on 8's too. I decided on 275/60's on rear, 235/70's on front. Probably should have went with 235/75's on front. I was planning on putting 275's all the way around till the night before, Changed my mind an am still undecided if I went the right way.I have a 2/3 drop also, sorry about the bad pictures, I'll have to get some better ones.http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1289532148

On stock height, I think a 235/70/15 front, 255/70/15 rear combo looks great.

Re: 6 ,7 ,AND 8 "Ralley wheels /Tires
gonnuts, you did the right thing with the 235's in front. I had 275/60's all the way around for 50,000+ miles, and I disliked them because of the way they pulled the truck around the road when you go over uneven parts. I've got a set of 235/75's now, and the truck drives much more smooth and straight.
