upgrade to power drum brakes
i want to upgrade to power drum brakes on my 69 1/2 ton c10 307 manual tranny. Is it possible to use a power booster from a 1975 c10? parts america sells a booster for the 69 c10, but no bracket. The 75 booster comes with the bracket mounted. if anyone out there has any input on this I would appreciate the help. Thanks Rick |

Re: upgrade to power drum brakes
Yes, you can do this swap. You'll just need to cut away part of the bracket on the 75 bracket and lenthen the rod to the pedal I think. I've currently got a 77 mc, booster and bracket on my 67.

Re: upgrade to power drum brakes
this is normally a direct bolt-in if you get the proper MC for the 67-72 year, right? no modifications necessary if your truck came with no-power brakes?
are there different sized boosters for our trucks? i see in magazines where it lists 7". 10" and 11" for our trucks. do all stock 67-72 boosters come with a vacuum hookup on them?
