What have you done to your 67-72 Chevrolet/GMC

I 've seen this on the other years of chevys topix but never seen it here, so what have you done to your truck today?

On my way to work I drove by the shop where my truck is being worked on and noticed the bed sitting outside.I figured that meant something was getting done yesterday!

Re: What have you done to your 67-72 Chevrolet/GMC

drove mine to college, looked at how low the gas gauge was, thought about my thermostat(which is stuck open in low 50 degree weather), wished my heater was hooked up so I wasn't freezing, left a black mark and some smoke

FRIDAY, on the other hand, I took it to the streets and lost to a stock '95 LT1 Camaro, and beat a modded Toyota Tundra................I need a 3.73 or 4.10 posi baaaaad

Etched most of the rust and old paint off of my inner fenders with muriatic acid. I love the look of new metal.

Re: What have you done to your 67-72 Chevrolet/GMC

I thought about pushing mine into the shop to work on it, but didn't have the motivation even though I have a bunch of parts to put on from this last weekends Turkey Rod Run swap meet. More money spent, yet not enough money to get it on the road.

Pull it out of the garge...drove it to get something to eat...put it back in...pulled it out again...used the detail spray for a good shine...cleaned the windows...wheels...and put some tire dressing on...then put her back in the garage for another day....
