sacreligious?

Choices...

This C/20 is showing 95,XXX miles on the odometer, and we believe that to be the first trip around. Other than the mirrors are gone, she's bone stock.

Do I restore to original? or go restomod? (i.e. transplant to '71-'72 1/2 ton frame, 2.5/4 or 4/6 drop, wheels/tires, p/s, p/b, late model seats, and eventually vortec V6 or V8, blah, blah, blah)

If the truck was a 1/2 ton I'm certain I'd go original. Being a 3/4 ton I'm torn...Opinions?

Re: sacreligious?

I like the C20's that look original, but have subtle custom details. But that's me, you got one nice truck there, make it how you want it.

Keep us posted, with more pics

Re: sacreligious?

Restomod, original sucks I think the combo I have (got the idea from here), 3.5/5 drop and 15" rallies looks pretty good. 255 and 275/60's staggered

Re: sacreligious?

Hah, 3/4 ton and short bed don't mixed well. Mine had 3/4 ton coils, I called it the bowel cleanser

Re: sacreligious?

I don't think most collectors consider restored stock 3/4 tons to be valueable, and 95K isn't really very low miles, plus there's still a million of them out there, but do whatever would give you the most enjoyment and don't worry about it.
